Cube Collage by Tony Berlant

$8,500.00

California Pop artist Tony Berlant discovered his medium, discarded metal advertising signs, while living in Venice Beach in the 1960s. His application of preprinted signage onto the cube form became his signature technique. Using steel brads to attach the reconfigured metal to the wood base the cube has a wonderfully tactile quality on all six sides. To add to the sensory experience this cube rattles softly when shaken.
