This untitled bronze screen is by Seena Donneson (1924-2020), an American sculptor and printmaker who received her education at Pratt Institute and the Art Students League in NYC. Her scuptural works in bronze have a controlled, yet accidental, quality, appearing ancient, yet modern, at the same time. Her work is included in the permanent collections of the Museum of Modern Art, the Amon Carter Museum of American Art, the Smithsonian American Art Museum, the Brooklyn Museum and Princeton University.
